What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I like being able to help students genuinely understand the concepts they are learning by building up from their foundations. This is reflective of my axiomatic learning style.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a strong fundamental grasp on mathematical concepts, which allows me to break down complex phenomena into intuitive content. I am able to adapt how the content is taught towards how the student understands the mathematical world. This has been evident from my informal tutoring experience. I have developed the clarity of my speech in the past couple of years.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is to be adaptive to the student. This is especially true for mathematics as it is a conceptual construct made by humans; it is important not to believe that there is only one perspective to a concept as - in reality - there are an infinite number of ways to get to the solution. Being adaptive to the student also means understanding their situation. I know first-hand how stressful high school can be; thus, I believe that patience and compassion should be practiced by all tutors.
