Connecting with students and being able to have students see the application of mathematics. Nurturing students' growing confidence in the subject areas. Alleviating "learned helplessness" and promoting independent studying skills.

I strive to make my explanation be most accessible to students by finding a variety of methods to explain the same concept until it resonates with the student. I build on prior learnt knowledge, scaffolding instructions so students can build on the previous content and extending connections and link with the related theories
