What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building relationships with the children I work with. I use positive reinforcement always when tutoring a child. In particular, I really enjoy seeing a child’s change of attitude/mindset for a subject they once found difficult or even disliked and now enjoy. I love to see their confidence grow; in their ability and in their performance. I enjoy passing on the passion I have for Literacy and Numeracy onto younger minds - in hope that just because they may find parts of the subject difficult, it shouldn’t dismiss how enjoyable it can be.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I consider myself to be a positive, outgoing, organised and diligent person. I endeavour to develop good relationships with the children I tutor. Differentiation is a key element in my planning as I may teach children with different needs, abilities and personalities. Planning and assessment also plays a very important role pin my tutoring. Not only does it ensure active learning but it ensures my plans reflect the huge variety of strengths, needs and levels of the children I work with and allows them to benefit meaningfully from my lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Building good relationships with pupils is vital to ensure the child has a positive learning experience and worked towards reaching his/her full potential. Positive relationships with parents are equally as important as it is essential to both the success of the child and the success of the tutoring.
