Strengths: - I am passionate, love teaching and mentoring, and familiar with the subject - I am very patient and I spend as much time as it takes to ensure everything is understood and absorbed before moving on - I am creative with my teaching methods to ensure that maximum understanding of any topic - I am sociable, friendly and make myself easily approachable and I make sure students are comfortable in asking any questions Weaknesses: - I can be too lenient and understanding; I don't make sure homework is done because students might have other work and commitments

Changing a student's attitude to enjoy the subject and want to learn more about the subject is definitely the most important thing a great tutor can do. A good attitude is key to succeeding in anything, not just school subjects.
