What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing students become more confident though understanding concepts, improving their grades and gaining more interest in their studies. I love to see students overcome the apprehension of tough questions/concepts and learn to solve problems on their own.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am knowledgeable in my subject areas and understand how certain topics link to other subjects. In addition, I am patient and I try to explain complex concepts to the best of my ability. I also utilise visual aids and technology to solidify key concepts. I aim to build rapport with each student to understand his or her learning style and to see what strategies work with each one. Moreover, I like to ask students how they got their answer to check whether or not they are using the right reasoning. I also encourage students to ask questions and motivate them to achieve their academic potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being patient, encouraging and compassionate to students, particularly those who struggle to grasp content, have learning difficulties and those that suffer from anxiety. Also, being an enthusiastic tutor is important to engage students in their learning and to make mundane topics seem more interesting.
