What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing the students you work with achieve and grow, and you know you made a big contribution in it. Also through tutoring my communication and overall language skills have improved vastly as there is a lot of explanation and talking involved and I'm very grateful for that. It's just knowing through tutoring your students, you are also learning new things about yourself, and it has made me grow as a person. Also tutoring gives you a lot of flexibility with your time, and I really appreciate the freedom it also brings, so I think it is the perfect for a University student like me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are I'm quite patient, hardworking, conscientious, friendly, responsible and I'm a good listener. I think I have a good, friendly persona that would allow students to feel comfortable with asking questions and feel relaxed and enjoy the sessions. I have always been an academic high achiever as I have been consistently getting rank ones for most of the subjects I did in VCE, so it would be beneficial when I tutor other students as I have the capacity, and knowledge required to teach them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe it is to help the student to achieve their potential, give them confidence and encourage them that “they can do thisâ€, and help the student find the learning style that best works for them. I believe confidence is a key part for the student to become successful as they are willing to challenge themselves, adapt and constantly make new progress in their own learning, so being a tutor is not only to help the student build their hard skills but also to help them build a positive mindset towards their learning.
