What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Throughout my academic career, peer and mentor help has been integral to my success in classes. Not only have I been able to excel academically, but also learn how to love and enjoy subjects due to individual help I have received from teachers and other students. This is why I enjoy tutoring - knowing that I can address the student's each concern individually and allow them to love and explore Mathematics.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I have obtained A* in Mathematics and A* Further Mathematics (Pure, Statistics, Mechanics, Decision) A-levels and completed university-level Maths courses, such as Linear Algebra, Proof and Problem-Solving, Multivariable Algebra, and others. I am very sociable and have been employed in many jobs where I had to communicate with people individually and address their concerns in a way that would be suitable for them. These qualities, combined with my experience tutoring peers and younger students in that past, allow me to be a great tutor able to address every issues clearly and consistently.
Most important things I can do for a student π
To allow a student love the subject. To do that, it is essential to first address any outstanding academic concerns and allow the student to feel comfortable with the current academic topics covered in class. Beyond that, consistent support and allowing student to think about the problems themselves will allow them to develop their own approach to solve problems and learn eventually leading to them enjoying and loving the subject.
