What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most is seeing the moment when a student realises they can understand something that once felt impossible. I love being part of that shift, from confusion to confidence, because it shows they’re not just learning the subject, they’re learning how to think. Tutoring also lets me share my curiosity and problem-solving approach, which makes the process rewarding for both me and the student.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a computer science student, I’m used to taking complex problems and breaking them down into clear, manageable steps, and that’s exactly how I help my students. I’m patient and approachable, but also practical: I focus on building real understanding rather than memorisation. Because I’m curious by nature, I try different ways of explaining concepts until they click, and I encourage students to think critically so they gain the confidence to solve problems on their own.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things I can do are make learning clear, build confidence, and encourage curiosity. I focus on explaining concepts step by step so they feel manageable, while also helping students develop the skills to solve problems on their own. My goal isn’t just better marks, it’s giving students the confidence to approach challenges with a mindset that learning is something they can enjoy and succeed in.
