What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have always believed that a great tutor can instil love for learning in students. To have such a powerful opportunity and use my knowledge and skills to develop passion for their learning material as well as life in general gives me the greatest joy in life. My experience in being a Peer Mentor in The University of Melbourne has allowed me to explore the joy in guiding students settle into the university life. I would love to continue finding opportunities to help young minds to develop passion for learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am proficient at my academic skills and my consistent results reflect the same. I have a Distinction in CAIE IGCSE as well as a 'Top in the World' award for Mathematics in IGCSE. I have followed that up with 4 A* in GCE AS and A Levels. However, I do believe to be a great tutor, one must not only have great academic skills but also excellent people skills. I would consider my ability to adapt to each student's learning preference and catering a personalised teaching method to maximise learning, a great asset of mine.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing as a tutor is to realise each student has different strengths and weakness and I must work with each individual student to enhance their strengths and overcome their weakness in specific topics. I also believe that being patient with students is crucial to aid their learning. My ability to remain calm and reteach concepts in various ways will allow me to be a better tutor.
