What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
When I tutor I am given a chance to not only share my knowledge about a certain subject but also encourage a child to enjoy learning. I want them to enjoy the process and build that curiosity and resiliency to face whatever obstacles come their way next. When you get a privilege of seeing that light bulb in them turn on as they learn something new, it leaves me with a great feeling of pride!My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My extensive experience of having worked with children had given me several strengths to cope with this line of work - I've had the opportunity to learn how to effectively communicate with children of different age range, understand them, teach them, be patient with them and of course make them laugh! Another non-conventional strength I have is my super listening skills. Children feel a sense of empowerment when they are heard, and I like to help them with simply by hearing about their opinions and stories.Most important things I can do for a student π
One the most important things we can do for our students is to show them the tools they need and habits to build and become independent.
