There is nothing more satisfying then teaching a concept and witnessing that 'aha' lightbulb moment for the person you are tutoring. Moreover, I've always found enjoyment in my studies and sharing knowledge

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I'm patient and willing to adapt my teaching methods based according to the student. If anything, I enjoy the process of figuring out which method of explanation works for people, since everyone is different. More importantly, I have a passion for learning, which I like to think would make me more engaging. There is nothing worse than being taught by someone who hates what they're teaching. Additionally, I am used to teaching myself and taking responsibility for my own rning, so I am happy to pass on knowledge about effective study techniques, time management, and coping with academic stress.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Pass on knowledge about how to become self-sufficient and break down work so that it's less overwhelming. Moreover, teaching students how to learn actively, rather than passively is incredibly significant. It is what will help prepare them for VCE, tertiary education, and just general adult life. Additionally, it is important that tutors explain concepts clearly in an understandable manner, while also promoting the student's critical thinking. Hand holding and just providing answers do not help people learn.
