What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring has always been a passion for me. The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is the communication. Having tutored people during my undergraduate and medical degree, I know that tutoring goes beyond just teaching. It is about listening to the students, understanding their weak areas and finding a solution to these areas. Also, it gives me the opportunity to meet new people and grow an everlasting bond with them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Something I have always been complimented on in the past by people is my attitude. No matter what is going on, I always bring a positive energy to the people I tutor and I have been told this is something people really appreciate. Additionally, I have been told by people I have worked with in the past that I am very dependable. They always count on me to get the job done right and on time and that always means a lot to me when I hear that.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student is patience. A tutor should get to understand, listen and work along with the students at their own pace without overwhelming them. Also, repetition is also a vital thing. The use of flash cards, rapid fire facts and positive reinforcement are vital for the success of the students.
