My biggest strength as a tutor is to be able to use different approach to teach until the tutees are confident with it. I had a lot of experience for informal tutoring, and usually explore various methods to help the student to understand the topic. For example, I recently taught my cousin derivatives and when she didn't understand the logic behind it. I use graph to prove her how it is possible to find a tangent line with derivative.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think it is important to be approachable. When I was tutoring my classmates, I learnt that many students are left behind in their studies not because they are not willing to study, but they are too afraid to ask the teacher for any clarifications.
