What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring will be an extremely fulfilling and introspective experience for me. It will be the perfect addition to my development as a student as I get the opportunity to exercise my interpersonal attributes like patience, communication and hard work. I think the thing I enjoy the most about tutoring would be the chance to understand another student, be able to guide them in a way that helps them grow, help them learn from my mistakes and hopefully lend a helping hand in their journey of becoming their best selves. As a tutor, my strongest suit would be to create an environment where the student feels comfortable being vulnerable. I would do my best to ensure they are open to making mistakes and learning from them without feeling threatened or hurt. Additionally, I modify my teaching methods to the student's needs and preferences as each person is different and communicates differently. I make sure I pre-prepare all the material and have enough time for questions and answers, I do not believe in hurried and overwhelming education.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make them feel comfortable and capable of learning new things. Often tutoring can seem like babysitting, but if a tutor can make the student feel like it's an opportunity instead of a task, it helps the student put their best effort into learning.
