What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing people have a better understanding of concepts which confused them in the classroom. I enjoy hearing "I love maths" from people who originally hated it. I love to listen to my students' ideas and help them improve on those ideas. I really enjoy breaking down complex mathematical problems into simpler bits because this aids in faster comprehension of mathematical concepts.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
From the feedback I have gotten in the past, I am capable of breaking down complex mathematical problems into simpler bits to aid proper understanding and comprehension. I pay attention to details and ensure that my students also do the same. I do not give up on my students because I respect the fact that everyone learns at a different pace and have different levels of understanding through various teaching methods.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
First of all, a tutor needs to build the teacher-student relationship in order to build trust and comfort in the learning space. A tutor should never see a student as weak, but rather, should see a student as progressive. A tutor should encourage and properly guide the student to better comprehend concepts in the subject being taught. A tutor should not directly feed a student answers but should guide the student on how to properly achieve the answer and ensure the student reaches that goal.
