What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the ability to increase the students' knowledge without them feeling less confident in the subject. As I wish to become a secondary science teacher it is my lifetime goal to ensure students not only learn because they are forced to but because they want to.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor is my dedication
and resilience in completing a challenge or objective. This will ensure that no matter how hard the student finds the content, I will make sure that I will teach in a way that they can understand it. This will make me a great tutor as I am willing to put in the hard work to ensure that the child succeeds in the subject that they are struggling with. Furthermore, I have effective communication skills. Having good communication would allow me to form a deeper connection with the student as it is crucial in strengthening their weaker topics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a tutor the best thing to do for the student is to be patient, resilient and adaptable. As each student has different learning styles you need to be observant and communicate with them as much as possible to ensure that they are optimising their learning. Furthermore, the tutor must be enthusiastic about the subject, if the student sees that the tutor is keen and excited for certain topics the student will become more confident as they begin to learn more. And with the tutors positive attitude it will boost the students confidence.
