No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Aroona chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Aroona, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
At the moment he seems to be doing well with a lot of these. I can comment on the following areas that Kaydin can work on to improve: back checking, note taking, avoid rule dependence and format skills.
Positive attitude. I can now see some desire to learn. I want to see more of his effort in doing the assigned work. The questions I give him should only take around 20 minutes. Oliver has become more attentive and participates in the tutoring session well. I gave him a quiz on the last tutoring to practice writing answers.
She's doing well in class! She sitll has some problems when approaching word problems - I may bring up this point every report, this is just something that she eventually will pick up through experience and practise. -
Good afternoon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for sending Justin as Arin's tutor. He has been wonderful and has helped Arin greatly to achieve a better result as well as boosting his confidence. Thank you so much to your friendly team and of course to Justin.
Diana is terrific. She's on time, very patient and Declan feels he is now understanding the basic concepts. It will take time but Diana will get there with Dec
At this stage we are very happy. Nick likes Tharaka and his overall attitude to maths has changed. He is quite happy to give things a go. His confidence is building.
