Lara is good at speaking her thoughts out loud, but when she gets stuck she tends to stop and almost freeze up, not knowing what to do. We want to encourage her to be vocal and try lots of different ideas before she decides she truly doesn't know how to do a question.
He has shown great positive attitude and is always a pleasure to teach. He has made great effort to do the work set for him as well as questions in class. Has a go on all the questions given to him, which is great to see. Difficult to assess as he only spends 1 hour with me a week. However, judging from his homework completion, he has good work habits.
Whilst he has a good grasp of the material and does his homework diligently, there is a tendency to make silly mistakes during his tests. This has resulted in lower than expected test scores. There is a need to work on his exam technique whilst working under time pressure
