Through science subjects, in particular, students gain transferable skills that are not only useful for other subjects but real-life problems as well. In reality, it's not just about the content, it's more about the way of thinking. Of course, exams and grades are important, but we've also found that students tend to react positively to tutors who show them these nuances in learning.

Jacob is going at a steady pace in Maths. He has improved on his multiplication and is now able to do harder multiplication questions and problem solving. He still needs to continue working on his division and we have been focusing on division a lot more this month. We have also covered reading graphs and extracting information from graphs/tables etc and started on decimals as well. He has also made significant progress with the 3 times table.
She has become a lot more confident when approaching a new task, she attempts most questions prior to asking for help. Jade definitely puts her a lot of work during each lesson. She has successfully completed the questions I gave her after each lessons to do during the week. This shows me that she is determined to do well and is a responsible student. Jade is an organised student, I have never have a problem with her work habits.
Mia's gaps in maths are shrinking, and she now understands most of the concepts present in the Stage 2 syllabus. Mia mostly understands division now, but still needs a lot of help with long division. David did come over yesterday for a lesson with Kyle. Like you mentioned, he is a diligent and competent tutor with experience in teaching. He did put in a lot of effort even before he arrived to make sure he knew what he was dealing with. I am very happy and impressed with his teaching. Just wish we had found him earlier!
Carolina likes Deeba, whom she says is a gifted teacher, & continues to learn at what is to me an amazing rate.
