Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 104 English tutors in Melbourne available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Kai is starting to really get hold of back checking and its importance in problem solving. Along with this self questioning is improving and this will aid him in exam results. this will continue to grow him away from lazy thinking that happens usually in test situations.
Miranda is doing amazing progress in her 'Sampling Math Project'. I can confidently predict that she will get either 'distinction' or 'high distinction' grade for this project. Although the project distracted her a little bit from being up to date in her math skills, she is trying her best to catch up, and hopefully she will with spending more time on solving the latest assigned questions.
Rachael advised she has a test in approximately week 7 which will be testing the content from both term one and term two. Rachael and I have together identified those subjects where she will require further assistance (i.e. simultaneous equations). Rachael acknowledges that she often struggles with content because she does not have the foundations unpacked. We will be aiming to unpack these foundations in the coming weeks.

Ayon has been a wonderful tutor for Connor and he now feels that he is coping very well with his journey into HSC. He has learnt a lot with his tutor and is now studying hard with a lot more understanding. I would like to thank you.
We are very happy with Michael and Caroline's confidence has already improved thanks to his support.
Madison has now had two sessions with Emma, they seem to be going well, Emma is very personable, has been working on some practice sheets with Madison for an upcoming maths test. All seems well so far.
