Take a few minutes to skim through our testimonials. You'll no doubt feel a sense of surprise. People's experience shows that tutoring does so much more than just boost grades. It changes lives. Like most parents you are probably looking for an English tutor to help your child with some specific goal or challenge. However, with the right tutor, you get so much more.
Once a student has the experience of progress and accomplishment they learn, and start to internalize, the idea "If I try, I can accomplish". This confidence often results in a performance improvement across all subjects, not just English and starts a student on the cycle of success. It's addictive too! Having a sense of confidence in one's own abilities is so rewarding!
We'll provide an English tutor in Gowanbrae or any other location that works for you. Tell us where works. Tell us when works. Tell us any specific requests. We'll do the rest.
Give us a quick buzz on 1300 312 354 and speak to one of our consultants. It should take them 10-15 minutes to get a brief understanding of your needs and availability. The next thing from there, a local Gowanbrae English tutor will contact you to organise the first lesson. Guess what else? The first lesson is a trial - so if you don't like it, you won't be charged.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
We are successfully using the talking aloud and pen to paper strategies. We still need to work on the back checking technique as it is very important. I try to build his confidence by using positive reinforcement and saying positive words eg. good work. We are also using the note taking strategy as it is very important.
Her concentration has improved, as sometimes we don't even need to take a break during the lesson. Although occasionally she can get super hyper and loses her concentration. Her completion of homework can be inconsistent, sometimes she can forget about them or she does not attempt all of the problems.
Ethan's main gaps appear to be centred around the visual / geometric components of maths including the mapping of functions, however, this is a skill that tends to be developed throughout the extension 1 maths course as it is often difficult to grasp and visualise at first. Ethan's main problem with maths appears to be in simply remembering all the different processes required for each type of question, but this can be improved with repetitive practice.
that Harry would get to the stage where he could do it on his own. I have been very impressed with the results he has been getting and they have far exceeded my expectations so the tutoring has been an outstanding success. I don't want to finish it though just put it on hold while we work on physics for a term. I hope that is ok with you and David.
We have been impressed by Callum's diligent approach to helping Georgina, his wit and time flexibility have made things as easy as possible for her. With warm regards.
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how happy we have been with Sigrid who has now had 4 sessions with our son, Andreas. She is a very caring and enthusiastic young lady who, over a short period of time, has built a lovely rapport with Andreas. In turn, Andreas feels very comfortable with her and looks forward to the sessions. Sigrid's competence and the commitment she displays are commendable and have resulted in a noticeable improvement in Andreas's confidence and his motivation towards maths. Many thanks for sending her our way.
