Take a few minutes to skim through our testimonials. You'll no doubt feel a sense of surprise. People's experience shows that tutoring does so much more than just boost grades. It changes lives. Like most parents you are probably looking for an English tutor to help your child with some specific goal or challenge. However, with the right tutor, you get so much more.
Once a student has the experience of progress and accomplishment they learn, and start to internalize, the idea "If I try, I can accomplish". This confidence often results in a performance improvement across all subjects, not just English and starts a student on the cycle of success. It's addictive too! Having a sense of confidence in one's own abilities is so rewarding!
We'll provide an English tutor in Botanic Ridge or any other location that works for you. Tell us where works. Tell us when works. Tell us any specific requests. We'll do the rest.
Give us a quick buzz on 1300 312 354 and speak to one of our consultants. It should take them 10-15 minutes to get a brief understanding of your needs and availability. The next thing from there, a local Botanic Ridge English tutor will contact you to organise the first lesson. Guess what else? The first lesson is a trial - so if you don't like it, you won't be charged.
The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Learning strategies taught and practiced during December: - Talking aloud - Back checking - Self questioning - Note taking Skills were welcomed but progress is still required for skills to be deployed as part of the study and exam technique.
20/3/18- high standard of work habits, completes all class work and homework, 100% effort put into subject (class workbook & Revision Notes). Attitude is positive, puts in more hours towards this subject than other subjects. 27/3/18- up to date in classwork. Is putting the time in Maths. Will work on exam approach and techniques.
Exponentials and Logarithms: Investigated this quickly during the holidays. It appears the gap is not as large as I thought and is mostly do with not understanding the core concepts. Still needs work though, and I'll set Ana some problems to do in her own time once we've clarified the theory.
I have seen improvement already. Jason is a gem and I want to continue with Will having his weekly tutoring session.
Priscilla is wonderful with both my boys. I would recommend her without hesitation.
WE are very happy with Adam. He is an excellent tutor and he is engaging them both very well
