The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
-Pen to paper- very good -Need to talk aloud and back check more often. -Working towards building up confidence in herself- she is sometimes hesitant to start question. -Working on improving her formatting skills as well.
In terms of work habits, I would encourage Grace not to jump to conclusions too quickly just from looking at a question. It is important for her to slowly and methodically analyse a question before making assumptions; this is particularly important for worded questions, which is an area which occasionally struggles in.
There are no major problem areas in Haritoneni's Mathematics foundations at her level. My only suggestion thus far would be further practice and exposure to different question types as part of her homework and self study. She has expressed at times not enjoying homework, feeling that she works better at school. A way to get around this could be to study at the local library, or any other quiet area that is not home, to perhaps help her achieve the focus she can get at school.

thanks for your enquiry. Isabella is enjoying her time with Manisha and the topics they are covering are all starting to sink in. Isabella likes they way Manisha explains things to her and feels comfortable in asking questions. Manisha seems like a very capable person and I like her professional manner in all things. At end of each lesson, she runs through with me what has been covered and leaves Isabella with some tips and exercises to go over during the week. I am pleased with how things are progressing and will continue until Isabella feels like she is at a place where she no longer requires assistance.
Yes, we have been very happy with how Cheyne and Juhi are getting along. Cheyne is feeling more confident about tackling her maths now and quite looks forward to her sessions with Juhi.
The tutoring is going really well. Jimmy is a great person and really good at tutoring. My son is really happy and comfortable with Jimmy. We are not taking a break over the holidays, so Jimmy is back on Wed night. Jimmy is really helping him understand his maths. Thank you for everything.
