Unfortunately not every school teacher is a good match for every student. Often the student might develop the sense that they are not smart because they don't understand their teacher's approach, but often it's just a bad match. No teacher is a perfect teacher for every single student, especially students who might need a tailored approach. A private English tutor can help. It's truly...

It's truly incredible the way in which one explanation creates that "aha" moment whereas another creates confusion. Our service is all about finding you the "right" tutor, not the "best" tutor. A local Laverton North English tutor will not only connect well with your child but they will be able to offer explanations in such a manner that your child just "gets it". This is what we do.
Our offer is quite simple. We will find you an English tutor in Laverton North. They will come to your home at a time of your choosing. They will come as often or as little as you decide. They will tailor the lessons to your child's specific needs. Best of all, if you think the tutor is not the "right" fit, we'll organise another tutor free of charge.
We want you to be a raving fan of your tutor. That's our Good-Fit guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Alicia readily adopts and applies learning strategies as listed here. Seeking understanding and format skills are areas that we have needed to focus on specifically thus far. Alicia recognises the importance and usefulness of all of the mentioned learning strategies and applies them appropriately when the opportunity arises. Alicia is making good progress, despite recent illness which caused her to miss a few days of school.
Micheal has a really good attitude towards the tutoring sessions. we are working on his overall attitude towards maths and that he can do maths. Micheal puts in lots of effort and is trying really hard to understand the concepts Work habits could be improved with remembering to back check and develop the skills.
Brad will at times perform an addition on a subtraction equation, but most of the time he will get it right. Fractions have yet to be covered properly and I would say there is a gap there, though what I briefly touched on shows he has the capacity to learn it.

We are more than happy with Kancelot. He and Rohan seem to get along well, he is punctual and polite , and is also helping Rohan improve his maths skills.
Yes, everything is going well and Avishag is GREAT! She is clear, direct, and no-nonsense, which is exactly what Is needs (can't get away with anything), and yet this is balanced with underlying kindness (motivated to do well). It's not something I can describe well in words, but Isabelle definitely responds well to Avi's method. She has improved to passing the most recent test (from massively nowhere near passing), and I can see her confidence in math has improved, too. She was shocked to suddenly find herself helping some of her friends work through questions that they couldn't understand, and enjoyed the feeling, so that is an achievement! Yes, she still has a long way to go, but we're off to a good start. It's so good to have Avi reinforce methods of organization and skills that don't register for Is when I mention them, too! We are both very, very grateful to have Avi help Is through this.
We are extremely happy with Estephanie. She has managed to hit exactly the right note. We are just looking for Isabel to understand some basic principles and Estaphie is managing this with patience and skill. I cannot speak highly enough of Estaphanie.
