Recently been working on NAPLAN-style questions in preparation for the test. James has some difficulty in remembering the previous techniques taught to him. Overall, James has the potential to do well in mathematics if he concentrates a bit harder in answering what the question is asking of him.
Alex is always happy to learn and I am impressed by his demeanour during lessons. He always put in 100% into his assignments, and it shows. He should be commended on his effort in maths and other subjects. The trigonometry assignment was a particularly impressive tour de force. I can see that Alex puts in effort every day for mathematics and his other subjects. This is very impressive, especially at this age!
Some areas of trigonometry, induction, and co-ordinate geometry will need to be polished up for the next test. Thankfully this should not be too hard. Trigonometry needs the most work. Induction and co-ordinate geometry should be a little easier.
Carolina likes Deeba, whom she says is a gifted teacher, & continues to learn at what is to me an amazing rate.
Oscar's a lovely young man and Angus likes him and he's already been very helpful.
Lia is really enthusiastic about the help that Jennifer is providing which as a mother is very exciting and comforting.
