Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.
Want to find out how? We can allocate a local Ascot Vale chemistry tutor within a day or two. They reach out to you and set up a first lesson whenever you and your child can make it.
If you like the tutor's approach you keep working with them. If you are not 100% satisfied - we consider it a trial lesson and find a better match. It's that simple!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Harrison has shown a good common-sense aptitude for maths and physics. He is a good note-taker and is always willing to try to solve questions for himself. Good format skills and a willingness to learn.
Good attitude, he is willing to learn and cooperate. Good effort, he does the homework that is given and he is willing to ask questions. Need to improve on formating and organise his notes and homework better.
We sometimes have some gaps with fractions here and there, mostly due to lack of practise. Once we revisit the topic, she will have regained her skills. Angelica had some issues with concentration at school, and I feel that we have improved some. The marks she received for her most recent tests have been much better.
Thank you so much for your email. We are so very happy with how things are progressing. I can already see Keeleys confidence improving and I can hear her understanding coming along as I listen to the session. Dennis is a fantastic tutor! He is very understanding and patient. He is a lovely man, very friendly and has amazing manners and people skills. I will be recommending your company to anyone I know in the same situation. Thanks again.
Zara has been a real help so far to Naomi who looks forward to seeing her each week after school. Zara is always on time and has a lovely approach, which Naomi has warmed to and she now feels less intimidated by her maths work.
We are really quite happy at present with Peter. He has been helpful and he and Lucy get along well.
