Every parent wants to know their child's education is in good hands. Your child might rarely ask for help, or they might need a bit of a push here and there. Either way, once they need help it can get a bit overwhelming finding the right support. That goes double for science subjects. Physics is tricky - the demands are getting increasingly complex. That goes double for science subjects. Physics is tricky - the demands are getting increasingly complex. On top of that, you want to know that the person guiding your child through the content, is also someone your child can rely on.
Not all parents know what to look for in a tutor. Not all parents have the time.
That's where we can help.
We provide one-on-one physics tutoring in Auchenflower. All we need is to have a chat so we can figure out what kind of support your child needs.
A good tutor observes how a student learns, offers encouragement and shows them how to stay on task. A good tutor also knows when to step back. That way, in the end, students not only get the grades they want, but they also become independent learners.
That is what the tutors we work with aim for - students standing on their own two feet.
So what's next?
Once you reach out to us we set up the first lesson with a local Auchenflower physics tutor. You pay a simple hourly fee.
The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee to make sure you are completely happy with the match.
As simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Generally she has been applying her learning strategies really well. She has a go at things and will reattempt work if she is incorrect the first time. She does need to start to check her work for herself before seeking to find out if it is correct or not because most of the time she is able to self correct if she takes the time to recheck her work.
Zara has displayed a positive attitude towards maths since the first day I taught her. Zara puts a sound effort into all her lessons. I found that rather than applying her knowledge to questions she does not know, she immediately looks to me for the answer. It is important that Zara attempts questions with the knowledge she has already acquired without seeking confirmation from me every few seconds. Zara makes a good attempt at all the questions I give her.
Callum's vocabulary will ideally expand so he has more tools to work with when compiling written responses and prevent him from getting "stuck" in a sentence when he is not readily able to express what he wants to convey. Organisation. Concentration. Callum often doesn't know about homework tasks and assessments until he goes to school on the day or finds out the night before they are due.
We have found Matthew to be very delightful, knowledgeable and easy to work with, everything is going fine.
Paris has been fantastic and has assisted Charlotte bridge the gap with her maths and had a positive result on her end of year school report and we wish to thank her so very much.
We just wanted to thank Thomas Ban for the wonderful work he has done with Jasmine this year. We feel that she has received these grades due to Thomas tutoring. He has challenged and pushed her to work harder and improve her maths. He is also extremely professional and courteous.
