No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Bangalee chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Bangalee, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Improvement can be seen in the student in terms of sincerity and hardworking. Able to understand corrections by self and make good use of the feedback after every class. Got good score in recent test.
He has been keeping up good attitude towards lessons and learning. However, he was observed to slack off on the homework assigned to last lesson. Great effort is made on attempt at those hard questions. His work habit is good. Neat and nice working was done in his exercise book. However, he always forgets to use ruler when drawing graphs.
There are still some minor gaps in basic mathematical knowledge. However, with more time and dedication spent on doing maths homework set by the school or from workbooks, she will slowly become more confident in solving mathematical problems. I have noticed that Amani is still a bit slow in remembering the times table, also from her pre-test for her TAS subject, she struggles slightly with visualising and answering questions involving 3D shapes.
I'd care to share something with you. Whilst our son, Jordan has yet of course to complete his HSC and not wishing to tempt fate, his trials are over. Last year, Y11 he received the award for #1 ranking in general maths. Unfortunately his teacher moved overseas and let's just say the relationship between him and his new teacher wasn't as before. His ranking swiftly dropped to sub 15! To compound matters, 10 students during Y12 dropped down from 'advanced' to 'general' pushing Jordan's overall ranking to sub 20. Then we came to you for help. Since Jordan has been studying with Suraj his standards steadily began improving once again and we're extremely happy to report that Jordan's overall trial's exam results pushed him up to 4th. Remember, this included those who dropped down to 'general.' Now that's a positive outcome. Naturally, full credit must go to Jordan but without your assistance we would be facing a very different outcome.
Nathan has really put great effort into getting to know Ronan, what makes him tick and where he can get the best out of him.
Everything is going well so far with Georgette and Sophia seems to enjoy the hour she has with her this week. She appreciates some of the new strategies she has learnt.
