The most important thing in my point of view is individualized attention which they do not get in a crowded classroom. Tutors develop learning skills in their students with different techniques. Taking tests often prepare them for class exams. My strengths are:

Developing a work ethic in a student that will follow them throughout their lives. I strongly believe the student should be interested in the subject. And I think, it is the role of the tutor to create that interest. The tutor's success is similar to that of a doctor. You succeed when you are no longer needed. I am a student and understand very well the issues students face when doing sums and exams. I believe I have mastered…

There is a difference between doing all the work for the child and actually teaching how the problem can be approached and observing how the student does it him/herself. If the child is stuck on a concept, it is my responsibility to help the…

The most important thing is to make sure that the student doesn't feel overwhelmed with their workload, and instead has fun (or at least doesn't detest the time spent) while studying. In this regard, the tutor has to make the content interesting and tailor it to each individual if it's one-on-one. I'm very patient in explaining concepts. I also…

A tutors role is to provide so much to the student whether it be knowledge itself or confidence in learning. However, I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to create a sense of curiosity for them. It is clear that people learn better when they have the desire to, so making the content interesting and applicable…

Increase their confidence in class at school so they don't walk into a classroom dreading not understanding anything the teacher will be talking about. I believe that a tutor can bring out a sense of accomplishment and excitement that teachers in large classrooms can't.
