All students need to go from struggling to catching up is the right kind of help at the right moment. The same goes for students who are on top of their assignments but never quite excel at science.
Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Birkenhead chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Birkenhead chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Zia is showing good learning strategies such as making good self corrections and self questioning when unsure about a question. She is also back checking her answers as an attempt to eliminate silly mistakes and maximise marks.
19th February 2018 I am very happy with Charlotte's attitude today. She has a can-do attitude and is very positive. She acknowledges when she understands something and she also points out and questions me when she does not understand. 26th February 2018 Charlotte's attitude was great. She was confident, she put a lot of work in her working out. She was thinking about the problems and questions. Again, she asks me whenever she has any issues.
Understanding the core concepts is a challenge for her. Once she gets a good understanding everything will fall into place. She is very adamant on learning algebra and is having trouble with it, as much as i want to focus on her other work. Algebra is very important to learn so i am okay with continuing focus on this, as it is involved in almost all math.
No problems, Tim is a lovely guy and tries really hard to make sure each session is the best he can deliver. Thanks!
Luke has been going well with Toby. Toby has a good clear style which Luke likes, he also gives Luke tips about note taking and summarising.
We have been very happy with Sarah and she is building a good relationship with Ryan
