No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Bohle Plains chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Bohle Plains, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Liam always takes in-depth hand-written notes, which is helpful in retaining knowledge and back-checking any facts or past questions. This most recent topic he has been less reliant on rules and is moving towards conceptual understanding. The topic of waves is also very conceptual, and his understanding has stemmed from self-questioning and visualising problems.
Tamoe's attitude is very pleasing and he shows an interest in learning the new and challenging ideas put forth. As far as work habits come, Tamoe keeps a steady handle on current work assigned by school. I would encourage an increase in work effort in order to cement topics covered in tutorial sessions in order not to double back on previous concepts and allow Tamoe to get ahead of his class.
Nicole has the most amazing attitude to learning in Maths. She has really improved her organisational skills and will complete work set to her to the best of her ability. She gives a lot of effort into every tutoring lesson.
Anastasia & Surya seem to be getting on & making progress. Surya seems quite patient, non judgmental & able to explain concepts to Anastasia in a clear & accessible way.
Olivia is doing GREAT! She gets on well with Alex and he is very good at making it fun and keeping it interesting. (she is easily distracted so this isn't easy!)
Matthew is “very happy with Kirstenâ€. That is the best feedback a child can give. Kirsten has a big challenge to get Matthew up to speed. Kirsten is setting him homework and has increased the time that she is spending with Matthew as he needs to put in extra study with exams pending. We can't ask for more than that from a tutor than to be flexible and mindful of Matthews schedule and timelines. Overall Matthews school results are improving across all learning areas.
