Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through QCE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Condon to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Condon chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
With the school year coming to a close, the focus over the past month has been around wrapping up the last content and working out a schedule going into the next year. The pacing has been more relaxed and we have been working on setting a work schedule, how to get help to avoid wasting time, and will need more time to build up good habits. Content wise, Parsa is able to keep up without much problem and can consistently apply the more basic strategies.
27/2/18- Joanna has completed all her classwork and homework and her effort towards completing her maths work is sensational. Will need to review classwork and homework weekly as this self marked by herself and errors and concerns are not addressed.
Her main problems and gaps seem to come from thinking too quickly and her comprehension of worded questions. Both of these problems can be somewhat improved through slower thinking which will allow her to better process given information.
Everything has gotten off to a great start. Rose is lovely and is engaging Tyler.
We are very happy with Michael. He has built up a good rapport with Jonathan and myself, he always arrives with a plan and has thought about each session in advance. My son's confidence is growing each week. He has a math test next week even though it still is early days it might give us a understanding of how things are going.
Desiree and Hyolie have Got off to a great start. Hyolie is very professional, patient and shows Desiree the relevance of everything she teaches her. Desiree feels very comfortable with her and I look forward to a continued relationship between the two of them. I would also highly recommend Hyolie to other students.
