No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Budgewoi Peninsula chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Budgewoi Peninsula, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I think moving forward Riley needs to work on his speed when it comes to solving equations. I am currently trying to help him memorize his times tables which can sometimes slow him down and to help him develop logical steps in how to figure out how to solve equations by taking notes and writing out all his steps out to show understanding and a step process. I make sure to repeat the question clearly and make sure he understands what is being asked of him.
Chelsea always comes to the lessons with an attitude ready to learn and focused to get as much out of the lessons as she can as she seems to realize she needs this help. Chelsea generally puts in her best effort during the sessions. Her work habits seem to be very good as she seems to do as much as possible before the lessons so that we can cover as much material as possible to get her on track.
Cara sometimes still struggles with linear relations and graphs. This can be remedied by continued practice on this topic even whilst studying other topics at school. Linear relations, graphing
Deepti is working with my daughter for more than a year as her Tutor. The great strength of Deepti is the trust relationship that she develop with the students, so they feel comfortable to open up and get the guidelines she share and teach. My daughter was definitely improved her math, but more important improved her confident and approach to math.
Andy is great and all is going very well. We are very happy with Andy he is helping Tylah with her maths.
El-Abed is doing s great job. El-Abed has managed to get my daughter, Faith, to agree to a 90min session weekly which should work well as she has some work to do.
