Local Reviews

Pradeep is an exceptional tutor. Both my children (yr 5 & yr 9) enjoy their tutoring with Pradeep & actually look forward to it. They are both becoming more confident in maths classes and school in general. Pradeep is the perfect tutor, quiet, calm and patient. He takes the time to make sure they understand the topics of each session and gives encourages practice. I highly recommend Pradeep.

Inside Camden SouthTutoring Sessions

Content Covered

Year 8 student Ava practised solving equations with variables on both sides and worked through worded problems involving fractions.

Year 10 student Josh focused on financial mathematics by reviewing wages, salaries, and overtime pay, as well as interpreting time graphs and simplifying ratio equations.

Meanwhile, Year 12 student Liam tackled advanced calculus topics including differentiation and integration of logarithmic and exponential functions, plus applied these to real HSC-style max/min questions for exam preparation.

Recent Challenges

A Year 8 student did not review geometry before her test, only revising for a week, which meant she felt unprepared during the assessment.

In Year 11 Mathematics, summary sheets were not created as recommended, so when more advanced differentiation rules appeared in classwork, the lack of quick-reference notes slowed progress.

"He needs to complete exercises," noted one tutor about a Year 10 student who left practice questions unfinished—this limited his feedback opportunities and made it harder to target errors in inequalities.

Missing or incomplete homework also came up in senior classes, delaying exposure to full-length papers ahead of assessments.

Recent Achievements

One Camden South tutor noticed a Year 11 student who previously struggled to apply differentiation rules now independently tackling advanced integration questions, even choosing the right strategy without prompting.

A Year 9 student who used to get stuck on data problems has started breaking down complex ratio tasks using her own summary sheet, no longer waiting for hints before attempting solutions.

Meanwhile, in a recent primary session, a Year 5 student—who last term hesitated to speak up when confused—now openly asks clarifying questions during lessons and checks his method before moving on to the next problem.

Local Spots for Tutoring

If you'd prefer not to have lessons at home, tutoring can also take place at a local library—such as Camden Council Library Service—or at your child's school (with permission), like Camden High School.
