The best thing teachers can do if their students are struggling is approach their learning in a personalized way, really getting to know their habits and specific challenges they face. There's nothing like having that one person who knows your study habits inside out, especially when it comes to science. Unfortunately, in classrooms, that's not always possible.
Many parents find that tutoring helps bridge the gap, but locating a reliable chemistry tutor in Canadian isn't as easy as it sounds.
That's where we can help, that's what we do best.
You choose the time, what you want the tutor to work on and how often they should come. If you are not sure what your child needs, we will figure it out for you.
Once we have a chat we will match you with a local Canadian chemistry tutor and set up the first lesson.
And what if something doesn't seem right, you just don't like the first lesson? No worries, we won't charge you! Instead, we'll look for someone who's a better match.
As simple as that!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Riley still needs encouragement with the Talking aloud strategy. He has shown more intuition than last month on Back checking, yet there are still many times where he will jump to answers that he does know how to solve, falling back into lazy thinking habits. Pen to paper continues to improve during lessons, but is still missing from most homework in regards to working out the answers. His confidence has grown, and tends to be less hard on himself now when he gets something wrong.
Caroline is very laid back in her work. It will be beneficial to see her get organised next year with an exercise book and pens to work with. When she gets organised, there will be a vast improvement. Seeing as this is the end of the year, it is difficult to judge how much effort Caroline is putting into her work. However, I'm sure more effort will see her do very well. Caroline must get organised for next year.
Alfie has demonstrated good conceptual understanding of time - for example, he is able to calculate mentally (and quickly!) the amount of time between 8:35 and 10:20. In regard to the analog clock, he simply needs a lot of practice on a day-to-day basis to be able to read it with ease and confidence. -
We have been very pleased with the approach Darrell has used with our daughter. He has been very personable and works at developing a relationship with our daughter while teaching her. She has responded well and feels more confident with her maths skills. She received positive feedback from her teacher after only two sessions with Darrell and she is confidently waiting for the results of her test. Darrell has always been polite, on time and communicates well with us. We appreciate his support.
Joseph is a legend. The feedback from Max has been great, and what he is doing is excellent. I am really impressed with his work and the effect it seems to be having. Thanks!
Oscar is finding the tutoring very helpful in realizing he is able to "do maths". He is feeling a lot more positive in general at this time and we hope that the gradual improvement he makes will continue to provide a source of self belief and positive thinking. He is very comfortable working with Kirsty and is keen to continue with her.
