Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Carlingford chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Carlingford chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
First lesson Adriano was lacking in usage of learning strategies such as pen to paper and talking aloud. Most of his working out was done mentally which gave a little difficulty in communicating to me what he understands and what he doesn't. His note taking is satisfactory since it's already a habit from school. Adriano also seems to be okay with making mistakes when told to attempt questions, but seems a little hesitant attempting them in the first place.
Poor at the beginning of term when he had just begun at PEGS, does seem to have picked up in our most recent lesson. Is he starting to settle at school? See 'Attitude'. Very easily distracted. Need to get back into the focus habits we were developing toward the end of last year. Will come with time.
Griffin cannot remember all the formulas, which is a big disadvantage. If Griffin can contact me more to tell me which chapters he has learned in one week, it will be better for me to prepare questions for him.
No problems, Tim is a lovely guy and tries really hard to make sure each session is the best he can deliver. Thanks!
Luke has been going well with Toby. Toby has a good clear style which Luke likes, he also gives Luke tips about note taking and summarising.
We have been very happy with Sarah and she is building a good relationship with Ryan
