Chemistry can seem abstract, learning about elements and matter, how equilibrium occurs and how chemical systems react. No wonder students get discouraged.
All it takes for a student to go from a mild distaste for chemistry to understanding what is scribbled in the textbook is someone to point out what to avoid and where to put in that extra hour of revision. It's like with any problem situation in schooling and even in their personal life, students need to know about using effective strategies. Then all you need is persistence, staying on task until you reach your goal.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
As usual Elijah is doing well in his study strategies. However, it must be noted that Elijah should endeavour to maintain a regular updated set of summary sheets as part of his regular study. This is especially pertinent given his upcoming exams.
Main problem was motivation as Dom didn't see the need to make an effort. Usually the first 15 minutes would be spent trying to convince Dom that this was worthwhile and gaining his full attention / focus. When focused Dom was easy to tutor and is clearly talented. Has a high aptitude but needs to find his motivation.
Its more so about developing good revision techniques now. Just trying to squeeze in 5-10 mins a day. Its keeps that repetitive nature going. Niamh loves a challenge and wont shy away from anything. Things are looking really bright for her.
The experience has been great and the results speak for them self. My son gained confidence as a result of the tutoring and i would gladly recommend you to my friends and family. The tutor was very pleasant to work with and very approachable.
Raymond is fantastic and very professional, he is always punctual and Frank already feels like he really likes the way that Raymond does his maths explanations. Thank you so much, it's going really well.
We undertook tutoring with EzyMaths to assist my son in his Year 12 studies. We have found EzyMaths tutors excellent to deal with, always friendly, efficient and on time, and always willing to fit in with our personal timetable, and I am sure they have made a vast difference to the possible outcome and assisted my son for his future endeavours. I would recommend EzyMaths to anyone in a similar situation. They cater for all needs and I have found them to be of great benefit to my son and us.
