With each chemistry lesson, there's more and more information. After a while, it gets harder and harder to pinpoint how it's all connected. No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Darwin chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Darwin, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a risk-free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Vincenza's doing well with her class work. We need to focus more on her problem solving skills under time pressure though, as preparation for her HSC exams. She's careful with her working out which is good for making sure she's on the right track, but she should also work on getting comfortable with shortcuts (with solutions and calculator techniques) that might help her in overcoming timed tests. We'll be working on this more over the next weeks in October.
Callen has a very positive and diligent attitude towards his mathematics lessons. When in need of clarification, he makes sure to ask questions and listens carefully to the answer. He takes on board the information and confidently and independently attempts the questions provided in the lesson. To see further improvements, Callen should continue to complete his weekly, assigned homework tasks and ask questions in the following lesson if he had any difficulties.
Catherine has had some trouble with'fill in the blank' style questions and questions which require you to work backwards this month. To help her with this we have been working on breaking down questions and going back to first principles to help simplify the question and make it more manageable.

Thank you to Ezy Math Tutoring for providing an excellent service and an excellent tutor. My child needed support in VCE English and History. I contacted Ezy Math Tutoring after researching tutoring services on the Internet. The tutor organised brilliant lessons. She encouraged and supported my child through her final year of secondary school. As a result, my child got an ATAR score needed for the course she wanted to do and will be attending her preferred university.
I wanted to send a quick note to advise how impressed I was with the young man who visited our home to commence tutoring my son Samuel last week, Darius. He was absolutely delightful and both Sam and I are looking forward to improving Sam's math with Darius' assistance and support this year. Although it was our initial meeting with Darius I feel that he will be an excellent role model for my son moving forward.
Ezy Math Tutoring was an excellent service for my daughter who had been finding maths hard. It provides one on one tuition at the home of the student and the tutors tailor the work directly to the needs of that student. I recommend Ezy Math Tutoring as it is well organised, efficient and highly convenient. Our tutor was very patient and helpful and our daughter's maths grades improved. In addition, we received progress reports, and information regarding further maths resources.
