Students are constantly catching up while demands become more and more complex. Meanwhile, parents struggle to be there through it all.
Sometimes all it takes is to keep an eye on your child's progress - are they turning in their assignments and are they meeting deadlines. Some students don't need more.
However, sooner or later most students tend to struggle with chemistry. And once they hit that wall it's important to react right away, before the tasks pile up and become unmanageable.
That's where we come in.
If you are looking for a local chemistry tutor in Greenmount, we can assist. Your child needs someone who knows chemistry, someone who will turn up prepared for every lesson, who is available when it counts the most, but most importantly, your child needs someone who just clicks with them. Someone who recognizes their needs.
That's what we look for.
It usually doesn't take more than a day or two to match you with a local Greenmount chemistry tutor. They come to your house at a time that works for you.
And what about payment? Well, we set a simple hourly rate, no added fees or anything, as simple as that.
And if you end up not liking them? No need to worry. In that case, we consider it a risk-free trial lesson and if you're still up for it, we find you a better match.
No nonsense, just tutoring.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Natasha is definitely getting a lot more confidence when it comes to vocalizing and explaining how she's approaching problems. She's also picking up more of her own mistakes by looking back on problems.
Maya generally has a positive and 'can do' attitude. However, she gets a little tired during the second half of the lesson. I would normally give her something that is more repetitive to do to keep the momentum going. It is also a good opportunity for a little Q & A time, so I can survey her understanding and revisit weak areas.
Joanna has been progressing nicely with financial mathematics. With compund interest, I advise her to be careful (i.e. double check) when she has to adjust the rates and time periods etc as they can be tricky if not careful. Also, I'd advise quickly revising smaller areas like the PAYG system and holiday loading.

I'm very happy with the progress that Abbey is making with Isabel, Isabel had lost most of her confidence in her ability to do her school work. Abbey's positive approach to Isabel's work is starting to reflect on Isabel.
Caroline is fabulous. We have had complicated family issues in the last month and will be getting back on track in term 4 and expect to have Caroline each week until after exams. Many thanks
We are very happy with the way James is tutoring Julian. Julian is responding well and is comfortable around him being of similar age and James hasn't long completed his HSC. James is passionate about tutoring and is going out of his way to bring out the best in him and to reach his full potential.
