Does your child need help with physics?
Maybe they need an extra push to reach that grade or they want to go from keeping up to excelling at science. Whatever the reason, we can match you with the right local physics tutor in Gungahlin who understand your child's needs and knows how to get them where they want to be.
Most students start out interested in physics and perform fairly well on tests. But once the concepts become more and more complex most parents notice a change. It's when students start believing they don't "have what it takes" and their self-confidence starts to plummet.
Parents usually try to intervene, remind their child that geniuses are not born, that they work hard and face obstacles like anyone else, and for some students, that's enough. Others, however, need more support.
That's where we step in!
We find tutors and organise one-on-one physics tutoring in Gungahlin, at your home or any other place that works for you. We work around your schedule.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Our recent work with Times Tables has not provided many opportunities to observe his learning strategies in practice, but they seem to be mostly still strong. However, Max could do to actively seek out understanding a bit more, and his ability to transfer his skills between similar problems could probably do with some work.
Annie's attitude toward tutoring has been excellent. She approached science this month with great enthusiasm and I have seen her grow in confidence when working algebraically. Her confidence boost has helped to remove lazy thinking, and actively approach new problems
No major problems as such. Eugene did take time to master multiplying and dividing large numbers from the exercise sheets assigned for homework but when doing them again in class, he became stronger and quicker at it. He has now been introduced to the style of questions on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division at Year 6 level. He has been given some exercise sheets on worded problems involving addition and subtraction at Year level for homework.

I thought you would like to know that Matilda got the highest mark in her class for her end of year Math exam 83%. We were so thrilled and it gave her a huge confidence boost! I would like to thank you and Erin and we look forward to continuing her tutoring next year.
I came to you because I wasn't satisfied with another tutoring company I had my son at. He has attention problems and was unable to grasp basic mathematical concepts. He couldn't add two numbers together if their total came to more than ten, he couldn't tell the time and knew none of his times tables. The other tutoring company tutored in a group and my son would zone out as soon as the tutor turned their attention to someone else. Their response to this was that he had to get used to distractions. I agree with this but not when I am paying $50 an hour. Your company has been fantastic. Your tutor researched children with attention problems before getting to know my son and used his interests to keep his attention. My son enjoys his tutoring sessions and now knows his times tables, can tell the time and perform complicated (grade 3) equations. It has been money well spent.
