Learning science takes a lot of effort. Students not only need to know the content, but how they can use concepts, when they can use them and why it's the right approach in a given situation.
Scientific thinking isn't easily acquired, but the skills are useful across fields and many future careers are built on them. It's a fascinating field with many applications - that's why students choose to put in the time and learn it.
Most students manage to stay afloat or even excel at physics all on their own, they master most steps along the way. However, sooner or later everyone needs help.
Learning how to analyse and solve problems as physicists do is an enormous leap. So how can you get involved and make it just a bit easier for your child?
One way to lift the burden off your child's shoulders is finding someone who will be there when they need it. If they have someone they can relate to, with the right approach at the right time, students tend to achieve their goals easier.
This is how to get started.
Once you reach out to us we can allocate a local Hilton physics tutor within a day or two.
We set up the first lesson at your home, whenever works for you, and we charge a simple hourly rate. The first lesson comes with a money-back guarantee.
Sounds simple enough?

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jet's back checking has improved greatly he checks most of the time now. Jet's confidence has sky rocketed since we started working together. It is only the very new concepts that his confidence falls.
James has been reasonably attentive during lessons but does have a tendency to 'check the time' a lot and I worry that he seems a bit eager for lessons to finish. He also hasn't been completing all the work assigned to him and it seems he is a bit overwhelmed by his current workload.
As Ash slowly makes up for the classes she missed due to varisous activities, her main problem slowly shifts towards dealing with more complicated worded questions rather understanding the material itself. I will slowly increase the amount of extended response questions that we will go through in tutoring to help her prepare for future years.
Thomas got 83% in each of his 2 Maths exams in the last week, (he went from 97 % to 50 % which made us think of tutoring) but for me its not the mark , it's the fact that he is happy and confident and really looking forward to his tutor time. It has done such a lot for his confidence Big thanks to Gabrielle!
We are all very happy with Rebecca. Myself, my husband and especially Grace, which is wonderful. Rebecca and Grace's school teacher have spoken via email and are working together. I think it is too early to see any real progress, as you said we would expect to see a difference in the next couple of months. But for now we are glad Grace is getting the help she needs while enjoying the company of Rebecca.
Mitch has been so wonderful with Nick and is doing an amazing job tutoring Nick, especially getting Nick focused on completing his maths homework. He has worked with Nick so well and has established a great working relationship with him. His patient demeanor is certainly a strong attribute and has made tutoring for Nick so much easier. Nick has commented several times that 'he has learnt more with Mitch today than he has all week with his teacher'.
