With each chemistry lesson, there's more and more information. After a while, it gets harder and harder to pinpoint how it's all connected. No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Meadow Springs chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Meadow Springs, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a risk-free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Still only first few lessons, so we've employed Talking aloud, pen-and-paper and backchecking, specially with respect to multiplication and division. I've tried to teach her not to cross out or erase wrong answers but to leave them in there for future reference, but she seems a little reluctant to follow my advice.
Jared is very eager to understand the concepts he is being taught and is an enthusiastic student. As mentioned, ensuring he checks his own work and corrects things using a different colour will help with revising for tests, as he can easily see what he did wrong and the correct way to go about similar problems. He has attempted and mostly successfully completed all homework I have assigned, which is great to see.
Tanmay is showing improvement on his problem areas such as spelling and silly habitual errors. some tendencies do remain but over time and with more practice reading and writing he will slowly remove these errors. occasionally he still shows some silly spelling errors when writing too fast and rushing, and needs to remember to always back check and take his time when writing.

Deepti is working with my daughter for more than a year as her Tutor. The great strength of Deepti is the trust relationship that she develop with the students, so they feel comfortable to open up and get the guidelines she share and teach. My daughter was definitely improved her math, but more important improved her confident and approach to math.
Andy is great and all is going very well. We are very happy with Andy he is helping Tylah with her maths.
El-Abed is doing s great job. El-Abed has managed to get my daughter, Faith, to agree to a 90min session weekly which should work well as she has some work to do.
