Learning biology is cumulative, you can't really skip any steps because the concepts are intricately interconnected. Before you can take on complex concepts and processes, you need to understand the basics. With the help of a tutor most students find it easier to learn how to use drawings and diagrams, read with purpose, utilize lab notes
and use the knowledge in new situations so it really sticks.

As always, Elijah's study skills are solid. However it is advised that he start to be more organised particularly in relation to his note taking of class notes. This is vital to his studies next year and will help Elijah in organising and thus balancing his studies.
- Zack is used to writing very big numbers and symbols, in a not so organised way. We'll progressively push him towards a more neat way of working. This will allow him to follow a sequence and not get lost in the exercise. - It is difficult to assess how he works in school since he hasn't been allowed to take his notebook or past tests home. - He needs to work harder if he wants to improve. Practicing at home only once a week is not enough for him, especially if he wants to catch up with the rest of the class.
Patrick should aim to continue doing as much work as he can alongside what I give him to do over the week. If he aims to complete at least one past paper, he will be a lot more prepared for his final exam.

So far all is going well , Andrew is fantastic and easy to communicate with. We have had three sessions so far and this term he will be working on the next unit of work rather than just exam revision.
All seems to be going well with Jared. We are overseas at the moment so have put tutoring on hold. Griffin said he likes Jared and is keen to continue tutoring, he said Jared is incredibly smart and always takes time to explain to him. We were worried as Griff seemed to be really attached to Nick and couldn't believe you would have someone as good to replace him. Where do you find these amazing young men?
I know it is only early days but Harley and Owen seem to have '˜clicked'. They are working really well and not only is Harley's confidence growing but also his understanding of the maths chapters they have been studying has improved. I no longer have to hassle him to do his homework - always a bonus!
