Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

We work with great physics tutors in North Curl Curl who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Abbey has good pen to paper skills as well as note taking, good corrections. However, she should aim to talk aloud more, back check working avoid rule dependence and above all be confident in her answers.
-Knows the basic stuff with Trig, Geometry and Algebra :) So should be more confident in solving problems in these areas because she can solve complicated problems already with just a little push :)
Tanner sometimes gets confused with the different approaches to simplifying, expanding and factorising expressions when you're adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing. For example, he might apply a simplification rule to a multiplication problem when its addition or vice versa, but if we are just covering one thing at a time for a period, he's ok with it. This just signals to me that his understanding and recall is not that deep yet and so we'll work to strengthen the concepts in his head!

So far so good with Amelia - she has always been punctual, professional and friendly and Mila feels comfortable with her.
I decided to work for Ezy Math Tutoring because it seemed very flexible and would fit in very well with my university schedule. At first, I was only expecting to learn a bit about being a good communicator and be able to engage people but it was a lot more than that. The real highlight for me was that no matter the ability of the child you are teaching, the minute that they start to improve and get better grades, that is THE best reward you can get. My biggest highlight was when one of my students who had just finished his HSC told me that he got a whole 20 marks higher than he was expecting at first for his Maths exam and he thanked me for my time. I recommend Ezy Math Tutoring to potential customers who want personalised help for their child and being assigned a tutor who cared as much as I did for my students to achieve their potential. As for potential tutors, this experience is so rewarding because you really do care for your students' progress and you develop skills that will help you for life.
I just wanted to let you know that Mila is very happy with her new tutor Amelia. She told me after her lesson tonight that Amelia is really helping her a lot, and that she is understanding concepts more clearly and feeling more confident in class and while doing homework.
