Chemistry can seem abstract, learning about elements and matter, how equilibrium occurs and how chemical systems react. No wonder students get discouraged.
All it takes for a student to go from a mild distaste for chemistry to understanding what is scribbled in the textbook is someone to point out what to avoid and where to put in that extra hour of revision. It's like with any problem situation in schooling and even in their personal life, students need to know about using effective strategies. Then all you need is persistence, staying on task until you reach your goal.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Over the past month we have been working throughout a variety of concepts covered in the mentals homework book. He has shown great improvement in these problems since the first week. I would recommend keep double checking work by working backwards when possible. I would also encourage to start setting out working for the problems on a separate book when necessary. Then when he sees a similar question he can refer back to how he solved it.
Antony has a great attitude towards maths and this can be seen through his passion. He is well prepared before every lesson with his textbook, calculator and pens. Right now, his effort is good enough for advanced mathematics, but not for extension 1 mathematics. More effort needs to be placed in maths, especially since it only gets harder from here. His work habits seem to be fine.
Sometimes Morgan still requires guidance on fractions and their link to division and ratios. While improving on her mathematical understandings, Morgan still sometimes struggle with problem-solving questions with high amount of texts. She is practicing how to complete a summary and to link formulas to questions at a faster pace.

Our son started with his maths tutor in Year 6, he was struggling and his marks were in the lower quartile of the class. Now half way through Year 7, he's gained confidence with maths and achieving excellent marks placing him above the year average. His tutor is a great young uni student, he takes the time to explain problems in a way our son can understand them, he's patient and clear when he needs to redirect a problem. One of the great benefits is the wonderful example he has been to our son, showing him how maths will play an important part in what he might want to do in the future. We are extremely pleased with results our son is achieving and credit a lot of the improvement to the support and work of our Ezy Math Tutor. We love that tutoring happens at home and at a time that works for us a family.
Thankyou. We have had our first session with Asitha and are very happy. He had a lovely manner and my daughter felt very comfortable with him. He has a great attitude and we think it is going to work out well.
I have been very impressed with your company and its professionalism. Thanks so much for the time and effort you have invested into Grace.
