No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the South Stradbroke chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in South Stradbroke, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
This month, David and I completed most algebraic topics up to Year 8, and subsequently his confidence and seeking understanding in algebra has vastly improved. David is now capable of avoiding rules within algebra, instead opting to consistently self-question new information, which is great to see. David's formatting skills in algebra have also come a long way. He is now very capable in setting out his equations with each equal sign lining up perfectly.
Zoe is able to finish her homework on time. She tries her best in solving maths problems and it is recommendable for her to do more practice questions to improve her speed in problem solving so that she is able to complete her tests on time.
Substitution of values has been an issue, as has fraction multiplication/ addition. While he is making marked improvements in the latter, as with normal algebra, he often finds himself confusing the different rules.

I'm happy to let you know that Domonic has been a great tutor. Nadine is very happy and feels comfortable learning with him.
Even as a trained classroom teacher, I found Ezymath's tutoring resources particularly helpful in dealing with struggling students. I would recommend the basic program to any student or parent as it is designed to help tutors systematically address common learning problems, and provide structure for the student. In addition to dealing with content knowledge, the Ezymath program encourages students to develop positive study habits, effectively engage with their regular teachers, and build confidence in academic learning that will continue to yield results long beyond their time with a tutor.
Things are going really well with Adam. Josephine is very comfortable with him and enjoys their lessons. He has been very helpful, friendly and supportive. We're really pleased its working out so well.
