What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I most enjoy about tutoring is helping my students find those sparks of intuition where a subject goes from being something obtuse and opaque to something understandable and accessible. It's very rewarding for me to see students grow

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my critical thinking skills and interpersonal communication skills are my biggest strength. I'm very good at looking between the lines to uncover exactly what the barriers to understanding are. Similarly, I'm good at patiently listening and communicating effectively to create meaningful understanding that students can connect back to themselves.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I feel the most important and most overlooked aspect of being a tutor is knowing how to step back and reinforce a student's independence, so that when they're no longer with a tutor they're able to securely access all of the knowledge they've gained.
