What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Teaching has been a passion of mine since 8th grade. I would explain various concepts in ATAR maths, physics, and chemistry to my friends. There is just a certain type of satisfaction when your student finally understands a concept and is able to apply it themselves correctly.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor would be the fact that I always aim to explain a concept as efficiently as possible. If the student does not understand it, I will try to tackle the concept from a different angle. I understand that not all people think the same. So it is always a good idea to introduce different ways of thinking rather than force one way down their throats.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

When I was a student, the most important thing a tutor could do for me was offer me revision resources and previous exams since these provided the best source of practise. However, another important thing that tutors can offer is patience. When teaching, one must be respectful and patient and understand that not all students learn at the same pace - and that not all students share your enthusiasm for a subject.
