What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy passing on my knowledge about a subject that I am passionate about to other people and help them understand it more. I consider myself a helpful person and I want to encourage people to take an interest in learning, so I thinking tutoring is a great way in fulfilling that.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I have strong verbal communication as I am flexbile in my speech. By that I mean I can change the way I present an idea so the other person can understand. I am also quite knowledgeable in primary and secondary maths, and that is important for a tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As someone who has been tutored, the most important thing is being able to explain abstract concepts in a way that eliminates confusion instead of creating more. Also, being supportive of the student's academic achievements and not judgemental of their progress is an aspect that is salient to being a tutor. Another important factor is to be persistent and resilient when a student may not understand something we have explained to them.
