What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Finding different ways of explaining things to people. Every student is like their own little puzzle, that needs to have brought forward a representation of an idea that suits their way of thinking and their experiences. It's a fun journey to try and find that.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I try to break down ideas to people in simpler ways. Often information tends to be presented in an unorganised manner at least in the eyes of the struggling student. I try organise it in a manner that better suits them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To give them the tools to understand their own way of thinking. One subject tends to have its tendrils in other fields, give the student the key to one, and hopefully they will find the analogous keys to others.

There is a serious level of misunderstanding of how induction and negated statements work. This may require a formal session going over it
They got the hang of the exponent laws very quickly, as well as solving equations presented in non-standard ways.

Charlie makes a lot of arithmetic mistakes, ill make sure they show their working in future.
Charlie obviously understands set theory well, they just weren't introduced to the idea previously.

Rationalising a quotient of surds needs work. There are a lot of steps.
Understands the processes well. Writes out all steps clearly and labels diagrams very well.

Sometimes misunderstands when things can be applied. (For example, the cosine rule doesnt just require two sides and an angle, but the angle between the two sides that is known).
